Mission Statement Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge (GPTC) is a Christ-centered program for men 18 and older who have a life-controlling drug and/or alcohol addiction. Teen Challenge is a 24/7 program that runs for seven months. Lives are transformed by the power of God which is stronger than the bonds of addiction. By applying biblical principles, Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically-well, and spiritually-alive.

The Teen Challenge programs have been developed to encourage the student to cope with everyday life issues. Students typically rise early and have little free time, due to a busy schedule of: Devotions, Discipleship Training, Work Projects, Chapel Services, Bible Reading, Recreational Activities, and Secondary Educational Classes (adolescents).

The Greater Piedmont location houses up to 34 men at a time. In addition to this, they also have a six bed re-entry program for graduates who are in need of further assistance.
