  • Early Childhood Ministry Director:

In this full-time role, we’re looking for someone who loves tiny humans, believes goldfish crackers are a legitimate food group, and can lead a team with equal parts joy, organization, and gospel purpose.

This role exists to create an engaging, safe, Jesus-centered environment for kids (birth–Kindergarten) and their families while equipping volunteers and partnering with parents.

    Core Responsibilities Include:

    Leadership & Vision

    • Build and champion a clear vision for early childhood ministry aligned with the church’s mission.

    • Lead, develop, and encourage volunteers.

    • Cultivate a culture of safety, fun, and age-appropriate spiritual formation.

    Sunday & Midweek Environments

    • Oversee all weekend and midweek early childhood programming.

    • Implement curriculum that helps little ones begin to understand God’s love in simple, meaningful ways.

Weekday “Child Care” Program for Groups

    • Organize and oversee weekday childcare environments for on-campus groups, events, and classes.

    • Recruit, schedule, and support volunteer teams to serve during these weekday programs.

    • Ensure weekday environments follow the same safety, check-in, and quality standards as Sundays.

    • Communicate clearly with staff and group leaders so expectations and needs stay aligned.

    Volunteer Development

    • Recruit, screen, schedule, train, and appreciate volunteers.

    • Provide ongoing coaching so volunteers feel confident, supported, and celebrated.

    Parent Partnership

    • Equip parents with practical tools to nurture faith at home.

    • Communicate clearly and consistently so parents know what their kids are learning

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A growing relationship with Jesus and a desire to see kids know Him.

    • Experience working with children and leading teams (ministry or early childhood preferred).

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • A team player with a positive spirit, a teachable heart, and the ability to stay calm while someone is crying, someone else is coloring on the wall, and a volunteer can’t find the goldfish.
