The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each shoebox makes a huge difference!
As the official collection site for Alamance County, we are looking for volunteers to help collect, pack, and load shoeboxes onto trailers.
Below, we’re offering two chances to serve: during Collection Week, and on Sunday mornings at our table in the lobby!
Beginning on October 19, the Operation Christmas Child table will be in the lobby for people to pick up empty shoeboxes and necessary information about filling shoeboxes.
Collection Week is November 17-24. St Mark's Community Church attendees may bring their boxes beginning Sunday, November 16 between 10:30am and 12:30pm.
