Young Life is a non-denominational, non-profit ministry that has been reaching teenagers with the message of Jesus Christ since 1942. Young Life leaders invest in the lives of middle school, high school and college students by developing life-long relationships of trust based on the Gospel. Young Life has been active in Alamance County for the past 22 years. Our staff of four and 32 volunteer leaders invest in the lives of teenagers at Williams, Western, Graham and Southern High Schools, as well as on the campus of Elon University and multiple middle schools in WyldLife, our middle school ministry. Our local committee of 16 couples volunteer their time and resources to support the ministry financially, prayerfully and through relationships. With the collaboration of the staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters, we have seen Alamance County Young Life continue to grow.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES:

Project: Volunteer Young Life Leader

Description: Spend time with students; help put on a weekly club event; help lead a small group campaigner Bible study.

Day & Time: 8 to 10 hours a week

Location: A specific high school, middle school, or at Elon University
